subletrooms.com is an inclusive community where all members are required to treat everyone with respect. Bad behavior and discrimination are unacceptable and could result in permanent removal from the community.
As a member of the subletrooms.com community, you are expected to abide by the following:
- Treat all other members with respect and be civil in all communications.
- Use subletrooms.com solely for offering or finding rooms. Approaching other members for any other reason is not tolerated.
- Treat all members equally regardless of race, sex, gender identity, religion, age, and sexual orientation.
- Only list accommodations that are fit for occupation and that you would be happy to live in yourself.
- Ensure that the information you provide about yourself, roommates, and property is truthful and not misrepresented or misleading.
- Abide by all regulations and laws of your jurisdiction.
Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Use of offensive language.
- Using subletrooms.com for dating purposes.
- Offering free rent in exchange for sexual favors.
- Use of explicit or suggestive language.
- Exchanging inappropriate photos.
- Engaging in physical and/or verbal violence.
Failure to comply with these standards, along with any of our other terms, can result in permanent removal from the community and being reported to relevant authorities.
Content on subletrooms.com is created by members; subletrooms.com does not visit properties or vet members in person. To help us ensure inappropriate content and behavior are removed, please use the report link on listing pages or in the messaging system.
Communicating outside the website makes it very hard for subletrooms.com to uphold these standards, but issues can still be reported to info@subletrooms.com
